Loving the new Real Estate album. Not sure that anybody out there right now is doing nostalgia as well as they are.

My neighborhood store was out of Beck or I would have picked that up too. Probably for the best; it sounds like the two of them together would do me in.
There is no such thing as a pitching prospect.

Beck, Real Estate, and Wild Beasts are the Holy Trinity of the Feb/March release indie-cred spectrum.

Really like the new Beck. I like the new Real Estate too, but not as much as their previous album "Days" which I absolutely love. Also looking forward to the new Afghan Whigs, the first single "Algiers" is excellent.
School's out. What did you expect?

I play Real Estate on Spotify often and like them but I couldn't tell you how any of their songs go or which album they're on. Perfect hazy, background guitar rock.

I've never understood this, if you're going to listen on purpose, why ignore what's being played?

I can't spend 10+ hours a day sitting in a chair, nodding approvingly at mid-tempo indie rock. I have to multi-task at some point!

I checked out some of their stuff after you posted and I really liked what I heard. Lucius will be opening for The Head and the Heart on some of their tour stops, including May 30 in Pittsburgh. Just a heads-up!

Been in love with J Roddy Walston and the Business for a while. If you're looking for a sound to go by, think a more talented early Kings of Leon fronted by Jerry Lee Lewis.

Maybe the most underrated Stones tune ever.
Arise and walk, come through. A world beyond that door is calling out for you. Arise and walk, come through. It's calling out for you.
