Bats lose it in the 7th.
You don't see many 1-0 games in the Pioneer League, but Buckley's HR stood up. The shutout pitching came from McMyne, Muhammad and James Allen (sixth save). Kyle Waldrop and Kurt Muller each had three hits.
Has Buckley been getting many games at 3B ? I have checked in a few times and seems to be DHing a decent amount.
Also McMyne has given up 1 run over his last 9 innings. Hopefully this is a nice little finish to his year. Little bit of a questionable pick, but I remember thinking some of the same when Boxberger was picked.
David Cook to Louisville. Puckett off the DL.
Rhinehart is 2-3 tonight with two RBI. Mudcats and Braves tied at three in the 8th.
Torreyes has hit his third home run and Dayton leads 2-1 after six, behind Tanner Robles. Jared Matthews also hit one. And Billy Hamilton hit into a 6-4-3 double play. How does that happen?
Dayton is delayed in the seventh, up 4-1. There doesn't appear to be a loophole by which the league can take this one away if it doesn't resume.
Daniel Renken is pitching for Bakersfield tonight. The Blaze trail 1-0 after two.
Freeman in for Adkins in the bottom of the 9th with runners on 1st and 3rd with one out...3-3 game.
Freeman gives up a single in the bottom of the ninth and Carolina loses to the Braves 4-3.
