    Let's not forget Gregorius

He's 7 months older than Billy Hamilton and currently playing 2 levels above him.

Stats mostly from high A, but with some AA now mixed in:

    .303/.340/.441 -- .781 OPS

Solid speed (10 steals in 18 attempts), and good defense.

Athletic kid with some EBH juice in his bat. He's coming back off a health problem in the spring, so he hasn't had a full year of development in 2011. Wouldn't be surprised to see him sent to the Arizona Fall League.

I don't know that I would call 10 steals in 18 attempts (in the minors no less) solid speed. But he seems like a decent hitter and fielder, maybe a Negron type just slightly more skilled with the bat. Potential answer for 2B post BP, not sure he is better than anything we have at SS.

Didi has plus speed. It isn't showing up in the steals, but he is a plus speed guy. Not sure he is better than anything we have at shortstop, but I will be 100% honest here... in terms of ability to play right now, I think he is probably the best shortstop we have in the system.

He has ok power potential for shortstop. He makes a lot of contact. Very good defensive tools.

Does your assertion that he is the best shorstop we have in the system right now include Cozart, Janish and Renteria or just what is down on the farm? Thanks.

Only guys in the minors. Cozart is currently better, sans injury.
