The Met series did it for me as well.
The Brewers series right before the All Star break. We should have swept that series. Coco blew a couple games. I think that really deflated this team. Things seemed to be going well at that point, after that series and the break the wheels fell off, and I believe those blown saves did them in.
When we traded Gomes who was our MVP. (only kidding)
I agree the Mets series was when I pretty much accepted the fact it's over for this season.

This year did not fall into place. Injuries from the beginning. Janish not being able to hit. A rotation that had as many downs as ups.
Phillies series when Phillips got picked off 2nd and then lost that marathon game.
