We have discussed maybe trading Votto in the offseason, so I pose these questions:
1. Given that both Fielder and Albert will be available in the offseason for some period of time, would you see Votto's worth being more this offseason or waiting till next offseason?
2. Not talking specific players, but what do you think is fair value for Votto?
3. Why wouldn't you be willing to trade Votto?
He will probably get 6 years 130 million.

You're in the minority if you think Votto will stay after 2013 or if you think the Reds will be able to afford him.
He signed away his arbitration years and probably got more money. But he didn't go more than 3 years for a reason............because he obviously wants to test free agency.
The only way I see him possibly staying is if the Reds build a powerhouse between now and then.
And I still see a chance that he gets traded either this offseason or next, depending on the Reds success or lack of success.
