Last night, the Reds' system pulled itself over .500 for the first time since the very beginning of the season. The collective record is now 365-364. Of course, that's not a primary concern, but it's nice to see a little team success after two dreadful seasons in that regard. Correctly or not, it seems to lend some legitimacy to the personal accomplishments.

For the franchises this year, it's been a long haul to overcome Carolina's 23-47 first half. The rookie teams have helped the cause quite a bit.

The current records:

AZL Reds . . . . . 27-19
Dayton . . . . . . 69-52
VSL Reds . . . . . 38-34
Billings . . . . . . . 29-26
Louisville . . . . . 65-61
DSL Reds . . . . . 32-34
Bakersfield . . . . 59-63
Carolina . . . . . . 46-75

Not too bad when your seventh-place team out of eight is only four games under.
