    First HGH Suspension

It was in the minors, where HGH is being tested.

A Rockies farmhand who was, surprisingly having a fine season and claims to have used to recover from an injury.

    I guess sucking hurts..

DENVER (AP)—Mike Jacobs(notes) has become the first player suspended by Major League Baseball for a positive HGH test under the sport’s minor league drug testing procedures.

Yeah but Mike Jacobs always sucked.

I've seen it repeated on here many times that you can't test for HGH? Have things changed?

Can't test with a urine sample, but can test with a blood sample. The MLBPA would not agree to any testing with a blood draw, but the minor leaguers don't have the clout to refuse.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

Not his 100-bat rookie year in '05 when he hit 11 homers:

Kinda makes you wonder what chemical refreshment he was refreshing himself with at the time.

More aptly, they simply don't collectively bargain their contracts. It's written in as a standard contract clause the must adhere to. There's been talk of forming a union to negotiate for minor league players, but to this point that's never happened.
