    Luis Terrero!

I'm not sure if anyone remembers Luis Terrero, who played in Carolina and Louisville last season, but he went to the Mexican League this year, and in 382 at bats, hit .390 with 38 HR and 30 SB! Maybe we should have kept this guy! It's hard to translate stats from the Mexican League, but he probably would have put up better major league numbers then Jonny Gomes given the same playing time, and certainty could have helped the Bats more then Brian Barton or Brent Clevlen or David Cook.

When a TEAM has an OPS of .971.

Let's see....if your OPS is 1.200 in the mexican league then i would guess it translates to an .800 MLE. The guys we probably should be looking at are pitchers with an ERA of below 6.00

The Mexican League is very much a hitters league. I wouldn't read too much into those stats. He's probably a AAAA player at best.
