    Daniel Wolford

I really don't know what type of prospect this kid is but his numbers since a rocky start to the season are pretty impressive. He is 23 and pitching in Dayton so that has to be factored in. Righthanded reliever since April:

    IP - 50.2
    H - 38
    ER - 4
    HR - 0
    BB - 16
    K - 59
    ERA - 0.71

Similarly, Drew Hayes will turn 24 within a month and his stats are also impressive.

    IP 54
    H 25
    ER 9
    BB 25
    K 81
    ERA 1.50

It is puzzling that neither has been moved up. They appear to be over matching the 19-22 yo hitters in the league. Perhaps the Reds want to keep a winning team together this year.

I think it's obvious that the Reds care a lot more about their relationship with Dayton than Bakersfield.
