Whatever happened to Homer's heater? His fastball is sitting 91-92 per Gameday.

There are 3 guarantees in life; death, taxes, and the leadoff walk coming around to score.

That's some excellent work by Bailey and Hanigan. 1-1 headed to the bottom of the inning.

That was too ridiculously easy for Hamels. 8 pitches.

Homer KKKKKKK Bailey. Nothing but fastballs to Polanco.
Homer KKKKKKKK Bailey. Four punchouts in a row.
    1-2-3.

Ryno with a leadoff single. Bailey bunts him into scoring position.

Phillips gave it a ride but it is hauled in by Victorino. Hanigan tags and races to third.

Sappelt has no answer for Cole Hamels.

Actually, the Reds as team don't have a clue against Cole. Hamels has made 8 starts against Cincinnati. He is 7-0 with a 1.43 ERA. If Pence keeps his feet he is tossing a shutout tonight.
