i think Lewis has great potential if he plays consistently he might be almost as good as Joel Youngblood or Larry Biitner, dont you think?

Chad Mottola's place in Reds history is in jeopardy.

mottola had so much potential that he was selected before Jeter
I think lewis wont be as gargantuan as Mottola but if given a little more playing time, he could develop into the next Richie Scheinblum

What the heck is Jim Kelch talking about - a showdown between St. Louis and Milwaukee??? All showdowns are cancelled if a team falls double-digits behind.

Edgar rolls softly to Utley. Nothing doing after three.

Kelch a little confused. He just called them the Dayton Flyers. Oops. Since Dragons can fly he gets half credit.

A walk to Utley. A bomb by Howard. A two-run deficit. 35 dingers given up by Bronson (Arroyo not Charles). That number ties a club record for a RHP.

A single and a walk has Bronson on the ropes. Bouncer to Cairo who gets the force at second. 2 zip in the middle of the fourth.

The special 7 or so players love him because they know that with his dumb ass at the helm they will be allowed to fail...every single day...without any repercussions. They will be aloowed to play for themselves, for the stats on the back of their baseball cards.

They love him because they have no fear of losing their job. They can coast.

That is why the chosen 7 or so players love Dusty Baker.

Kelch has the inning over after two outs. Rough night for the Jimster.

Is the paint dry yet? 11 in a row set down by Halladay. Veteran Creaminess paying huge dividends.

One-out double by Victorino. Fly ball. Foul pop. No damage done.
