3-4-5-6 = Heavy artillery. I see a minimum of five runs on the board today. Yes!

That's about as nice a lineup as we could hope to run out there. Hope it pays off!

Leake with a quick top of the first, sets down the City of Brotherly Lovers on 12 pitches.

Reds gonna score early and often I have a feeling.

Popfly to Pence who bobbles it momentarily allowing Phillips to get back safely into first after still another braindead adventure on the basepaths.
Votto skies to Ibanez, Bruce flies to Victorino and Phillips is stranded at first.

Reds shortstops stink on ice. Renteria now 4 for his last 29. Janish is 0 for 27. A combined 4 for 56. Renteria quickly dropping to the .600 OPS level. Janish right at the .500 OPS mark. PUTRID!

I'd put Valaika at short. Honestly, what could it possibly hurt at this point?

Pence line drives it to the wall in left. Runner on second with one down. Ibanez walks.

Coco wants to retire as a Red. Gulp! Rumors that his team option for next year might be reworked. Lower money next year but tack a couple more years on. Gulp! Next we will hear Renteria is coming back. No big moves looking more and more imminent.

Schneider gets the Phillies off the Schneid (I had to) with a single to right. 1-0 Philadelphia.

Yonder has a 4th option somehow. Alonso could very well be in Loo-uh-vulle next year. Will have to check the spray charts. Valdez with an infield single to load them up for the pitcher.

Two-strike single by the pitcher Worley makes is 2-0. Stubbs lasers Schneider out at the plate. Another out please. I don't want to go down 5 zip here. Ground ball base hit to left. Valdez scores. 3-0. Can of corn to right retires the side. 39 pitches for Leake in the second. Fisher got up in the pen.

SOAPBOX TIME: You can draw the names of the position players out of a hat, bat them in any order, and let them play anywhere they want to out in the field and it just does not matter if the pitchers can't get the other side out.

Juan "No Discipline At The Plate" Francisco walks in his first at-bat back. On four pitches. Nice. Alonso with a base knock. That is what I am talking about.
