The Reds have promoted catcher Yasmani Grandal, first baseman Naftali Soto, outfielder Quintin Berry, pitchers Travis Webb and Brandon Hynick all to Triple-A Louisville.
To replace them on the Double-A roster, catcher Mike Fleury, pitcher Andrew Bowman, infielder Brodie Greene and outfielder Ryan LaMarre have been promoted to the Mudcats from Bakersfield.

Good job, 21. The holes left in Bakersfield will be interesting propositions, it seems, because the organization has been pretty intent upon keeping the Dayton guys together. I wonder if some of the older AZL guys might go there for a couple days--Selsky and Joyce, perhaps.
Cool. I've noticed LaMarre Tweeting about taking a flight across the country and saying goodbye to California, and I didn't really understand what he was talking about until now.

I think with the late-season promotion it's quite likely.
I think where Grandal plays next season will be determined by where we see Mesoraco.
