    Saturday 9-3-11 Minor-League Updates

Hamilton stole #98 after doubling in the first, then scored on the throwing error. Dayton leads 1-0 in the third.

Brandon Dailey is playing 2B and batting second for Dayton. Don't know what's up with Torreyes.

Travis Wood is still in the game after getting rocked for five runs in the first two innings. Louisville is tied 5-5 in the fourth. Quintin Berry has two steals.

Rhinehart and Puckett went back-to-back for Carolina in the seventh, but the Mudcats are down 7-3. Justin Lehr may be ready for that coaching career.

Didn't see this one coming. Carolina ended up scoring 9 in the seventh to take a 10-7 lead. Nobody has more than one hit.

Then scored on a groundout by Dailey. It's 4-0 Dayton in the fifth.

Just noticed that Brennan May was also promoted to Dayton. He's in the lineup playing RF.

Carolina hangs on 10-9. Joseph struggled and Freeman got the last out.

Louisville loses 8-7. Phipps (.362) goes 2-3 with a 2B. Travis Webb turns a perfect inning in his AAA debut.

Routine day off for Torreyes getting ready for playoffs. May and Dailey came up when Garton and Pearl were put on the D.L.

Anyone know the last time a minor leaguer grabbed 100 stolen bags in 1 season?
