    KHL Plane crash

I'm surprised I don't see a thread about this on here already. I guess we Americans aren't concerned with foriegn leagues and probably even more so that its hockey.

None the less, it was a terrible tragedy, my heart goes out to the families of these people.

The team they were to play tonight made a very very moving tribute, here's an excerpt.

Championships for MY teams in my lifetime:
    Cincinnati Reds - 75, 76, 90
    Chicago Blackhawks - 10, 13, 15
    University of Kentucky - 78, 96, 98, 12
    Chicago Bulls - 91, 92, 93, 96, 97, 98

    Horrible tragedy.

Josef Vasicek - i had a chance to meet and get his autograph. He will always be remember as a Stanley Cup champion and one hell of a guy. RIP. The Hurricanes community missed you.

We have had season tickets with the Carolina Hurricanes for ten years now. Like Reds said, the guy was a humble person and loved the game. When I saw Big Joe's name on the headlines about this crash I was heartbroken. When I called my wife to tell her I got choked up mid sentence and had to stop. He was my favorite when he was here for the early years.

    RIP #63.
