    Birthdays- 9/8

Slim pickings today...probably the worst so far during this project.

    Reds:

Val Picinich- Long-time catcher who spent three years with the Reds in the late 1920s.

    Others:

    Ken Forsch
    (65) -The lesser of the two Forsch brothers, but a good pitcher for a number of years with Houston.

    Casey Wise
-You wanna see a bad batting record, look up Casey- he makes Paul Janisch look like Honus Wagner.

Oh, yeah...I see what you mean. Didn't really play all that much (126 games over a 4-year career from '57 thru '60) but never did manage to get beyond .197 BA. Must have had a great glove.
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not so sure.
