    Birthdays- 9/10

    Reds:

Joey Votto (28) -Happy 28th, Joey- enjoy yourself a little today. You always look so grim.

Ted Kluszewski -Would have been 87 today. Great Red, great coach, great person.

    Others:

Randy Johnson (48) -When we get impatient with the progress of Aroldis Chapman, let's remember how long it took the Big Unit to put it all together.

    Roger Maris

George Kelly -Remember yesterday when I wrote about Frankie Frisch littering the Hall of Fame with his old, undeserving cronies? This guy is often cited as exhibit A.

An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

Agreed. And 1954 was truly a year to remember for Big Klu and Reds fans.
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not so sure.
