Stubbs walks. 1st and 2nd with one out.
An experienced 6-4-3 off the bat of Renteria ends the threat.

I am pretty sure you got the formula right. Is he arbitration or are they just going to resign him?

Heisey should be in the 2 hole. He hits better up there.

They wouldn't go to arb with him. No telling how much he would be awarded. I can't imagine with his numbers he would take a pay cut in arb.

Volquez walks Field to start the third. Field's first at-bat in the majors. He is so new that Gameday doesn't have a picture of him. Drew Pomeranz squares to bunt. Pomeranz gets a successful bunt down in his first plate appearance in the majors.

Wild pitch or passed ball, take your pick. runner moves up ninety feet. Flashback to Bull Durham on that one. Young Ks. Big out there.

Just looked at Heisey's numbers in the 2 hole - hitting .357 in limited ABs. 9 of his 15 homers came in the 1 or 2 hole. The other ones were pinch-hitting or in the 5-6 hole.

Fowler walks for the second time in three innings.

That means at least one Drew knows how to bunt.

Pacheco grounds out. No damage done. Still no score.

Hey, one playoff every ten years or so. As a Reds fan I can relate.

34-7 Texans over the Colts final. Houston Sports talk Radio will go crazy this week.

No living with Texan fans this week. If they win a game they think they are headed for the Super Bowl.
