This is the lineup I would like to see next season, with hope Mesoraco can be good enough to bat 4th later in the season (swap with Bruce)

Sub in Cozart for Janish and this is the group I want on the field next year, unless there are some additions which is doubtful

    From Ken Rosenthal:
The Reds' top goal is to add a middle-of-the-order hitter.
Because the pitching has been so good. LOL. Reds management. Always good for a laugh.

    Pitching is not the issue

The Reds rank 4th in the NL for quality starts

    EDIT
    Lets face it

    The starters did their jobs
The Bullpen is ranked 8th of 16 in ERA
The Reds are the only team under .500 with a PLUS Differential

The issue is mainly the Manager

The pitching will get better as it learns and progresses, whom do you see presently on the roster that can step in and play either 3rd or LF and be that quality bat in the order?

And the young hitters won't learn and get better? Interesting. I have a lot more faith in the young hitters in this organization taking a step forward than I do the young pitching.

what young hitters? Bruce might at some point maybe in another year or so, but I see a better chance of consistant improvement out of our pitchers over say Bruce, Stubbs or Cozart.

Missed the top half of the first. Doesn't look as if I missed much. 3 zip Cubbies. Reds will pound Lopez. Lot of game left.

3 pitches, 2 outs. Votto to the plate. Votto continues to be the man. Single. Bruce with an infield single. Two on for Yonder. Newsflash. Reds leave runners in scoring position.

Devin has the distance but not the direction. Loud foul. Wow. Juan Francisco hits one over the right field bleachers. It left the park. 3-1. Willis singles. Bronson ties it up with a bomb. Rodrigo Lopez serving up room service.
