Razor slapping the horsehide around tonight. Doubles to lead things off in the bottom of the fourth.

LeCure swings and misses. Phillips hits the ball to the right side. Hernandez strolls to third. Two down. If LeCure gets the bunt down the Reds have another run. Little things. Renteria singles. 6-0. Welcome to 2012, Edgar.

Cubs make a pitching change. Chicago brings in their everlasting Gaub-stopper who promptly fans Joey Votto. LeCure in excellent position to vulture a win.

Cubs swinging early and often. 3 up, 3 down on just a handful or so of pitches.

Can we get that Starlin Castro kid, please? Reed Johnson Ks. Ramirez grounds to the left side and a diving Renteria can't make the stop. Runners on the corners with one out.

Ground ball to short. Renteria trades a run for an out. 6-2. Byrd has about 800 feet of outs against LeCure.

A good defensive shortstop gets to that ground ball and starts a 6-4-3 DP. End of the inning. No runs allowed.

Then we need to platoon Renteria and Janish. Renteria hits, Janish fields.

Stubbs K. Yawn. 191. Lemme check on that. Too lazy to check. A whole bunch. Razor retired 1-3. Dave Sappelt gonna swing the stick for LeCure. That was fast - two-pitch grounder to second.
