    Birthdays- 9/16

    Reds:

Joe Edelen (56) Former Cards 1st-rounder acquired for Doug Bair.

Ed Sprague (66) One of the many Big Red Machine members who sired other big leaguers.

    Others:

Gordon Beckham (24) Now has a .249 career batting average, and not so many people are on this board saying we should have drafted him instead of Alonso.

Mark Parent (50) Spent 13 years in the bigs without ever being a full-time player.

    Mel Hall
    (51)

    Mickey Tettleton (51)

Tim Raines (52) Should be in the Hall

    Orel Hershiser (53)

    Robin Yount (56)

Emil "Hillbilly" Bildilli -Included here because of his cool name.

We could add Roger Moret (63). He pitched for the Red Sox, Braves and Rangers in the '70s and faced the Reds in the '75 World Series.

I could remember that Moret has something really weird wrong with him. I looked it up and found this on WIKI.

Mickey Tettleton's son Tyler is a pretty good QB for the Ohio Bobcats.
Eric Stratton, Rush Chairman. Damn glad to meet ya.
