Brew Crew vs. Reds - Friday - 09/16/2010

    Phillips 4
    Sappelt 7
    Votto 3
    Bruce 9
    Heisey 8
    Cairo 5
    Hernandez 2
    Janish 6
    Arroyo 1

Hanigan usually catches Arroyo but is out tonight, after suffering back spasms last night. Manager Dusty Baker said Hanigan is day-to-day. Should be a packed house tonight to watch Arroyo became the all-time team leader in HRs allowed by a Red. Somewhere Eric Milton is getting ready to pop the bubbly. By the way, Arroyo is third on the all-time career list with 188. He recently passed Aaron Harang, who surrendered 185. Bronson now trails only Joe Nuxhall with 197 and Tom Browning with 234. With two years left on his contract I'd say he is pretty much a lock. Good times.

People got numbers to get and mouths to feed

No time for Devin to face Major League pitching to prepare for next season

I go crazy over the amount of playing time Dusty gives Stubbs, but one thing is sure- Stubbs really hits left handed pitching. So with Wolfe on the mound, Stubbs will get a day off. To be replaced by Heisy who hits right handers better than southpaws. What am I missing here?

I kinda hope we lose tonight and I hope the Phils beat down the Cardinals. I don't like how tight this finish is in the Central. I want the Brewers to get it clinched. I want no hope for TLR's boys.

I'm as big a Bronson fan as there is and no one has done more for this team over the years. But this is rediculous.
