Mets said the Cardinals fans were doing the most polite booing he has ever heard. Almost like they were embarrassed to boo. David Wright Ks. Two down. St. Louis was up 6-1 after 7. Two-out, two-run single by Willie Harris. 8-6 Mets.

LOL Couldn't think of any team I would rather have cough up a 6-2 lead in the ninth.

Mets score 6 runs in the 9th and beat the Cardinals. I hope this starts the Cards tailspin!

My hope is that they miss the post-season by one game and go into the off season knowing that this was the game that cost them!

Good night for Los Bravos as both the Cards (choked) and the Giants (booty-kicked) lost.

Got to be a gut wrenching killer to lose by an opponent scoring 6 runs in the 9th. Especially with all that is at stake.

Cards trailing 1-0 going into the 9th. They have a runner on third base with one out when David Freese strikes out. Where have I seen that before, a punch out with a runner on third and less than two outs? And then, after walking three straight to completely clog the bases and force in the tying run, Marmol uncorks a wild pitch as the Redbirds win 2-1 lead. Cubbies forever. It's like the reverse of the Mets game a couple games back. Los Bravos are losing. Cardinals creep within two. Furcal the hero by working that wild pitch.

St. Louis is like that vampire that can't quite be finished off. Silver stake time.

Red Sox trailing 5-2 in the first game of a day/night DH. Tampa Bay leads 4-2. Could have a tie in the WC by day's end.
Final series Boston visits Baltimore. Tampa hosts the Evil Empire.

Los Bravos trail 1-0 in the fourth. Ditto the Cards.
