The Reds announced that Walt Jocketty’s contract has been extended by three years, taking him through the 2014 season.
Jocketty joined the Reds in January of 2008 as a special advisor to CEO Bob Castellini. Jocketty, 60, was promoted to president of baseball operations and general manager April 23 of that year.
