    and I might take this opportunity to say I have always spelled his abbreviated name this way, not Mes... Good article on a super guy.

    I keep wondering if Mez's lack of success at the plate since his callup will mean that Hernandez and Hanigan will both be in Cincy come opening day 2012.

    I think Mez is the kind of player who takes a full season or so to really adjust to a new league. I look for him to break out in 2013. Next year will likely be a big dropoff from Ramon. Growing pains...we're going to need to be patient.
