Masset is the bullpen equivalent of Edinson Volquez. Great stuff. Can he harness it?

Dusty said Stubbs is starting in center the next two nights. Probably fair considering he has been the everyday CFer, but doesn't give much of a chance to win recently.

Does anyone think sending Stubbs up there to just turn around and grab some bench is doing him any good?
    Aside from Baker

It might send a good message to him in the off-season to sit for a lot of the remaining. Send him the message that he has some work to do in the off-season.

First two Cards single. LaRussa gives up an out to move them in to scoring position. Craig bounces to the mound. Two out. Descalso grounds to third. No runs score. 4-2 Houston still.

Arredondo Ks the first batter he faces before giving up his mandatory base on balls. Reyes drives one into the corner to score a run. Fortunately Reyes makes a baserunning blunder and is out trying to get back to second. 6-5. Another base hit. LOL. Marty kills me. After Arredondo Ks the first batter he is a closer waiting to happen. Now Marty thinks there is no way they can get him out of there fast enough.

Phillie just beat the Braves 3-2. Madson gave up a double to Uggla, then struck out Freeman, McCann and Heyward.

Matt Kemp just hit a 3 run HR. Still has a shot at the triple-crown.
