    I have been thinking about making one of these time lapse videos. I need to do some research to get it planned out, but I want/need a setting without any light pollution and preferably a mountain where the Milky Way is visible (to a camera). At the very least, my goal for 2012 is to get a photograph of the Milky Way galaxy over a mountain.

    There are some simply amazing time lapse videos out there like this one. I spend lots of time watching them. The digital SLR age makes things like this so much easier than ever before.
