Carpenter is poked at because he's a baby. How is that not accurate?
We of all fanbases should know how great of a pitcher he is. He also has a tendency to get clutch when he needs to. That was a hell of a game he pitched tonight.

What I think is even more funny is the so called worst division in baseball has two vying for the world series.
I doubt you find anyone at any time joking about Carpenter's pitching ability. There is plenty to joke about regarding his sensitive feelings that get bruised quite easily. The joke is on you for trying to stir up something.

As much as I can't stand him, I hate the Phillies more, so for one night, I was glad he was out there to shut them up, plus that annoying fanbase.
Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in awhile. Carpenter's no different.
Phillies might be the most overhyped team in mlb.

Zack Greinke, the Brewers' Game 1 starting pitcher, said "no one really likes Carpenter," because he has a "phony attitude" and "stares people down." This being NL baseball, Greinke now has to stand in that right-hand batter's box and risk receiving his comeuppance in a brush-back pitch or worse.
