    Halloween 2011

Did you dress up? What did you do?

I'll start off. I bar crawed tonight dressed as D*ck in a Box from Saturday Night Live.

I wound up in Virginia this weekend on a whim to visit my best friends. They had a costume party so we went to the store and I told them they could pick out my costume. I wound up as "1980's overweight work out guy". It is essentially a fat suit that has a fan that blows air into the suit to keep it inflated. Came with a Richard Simmons type whig and headband.

Last weekend I wound up at a Halloween party and went as Happy Gilmore.

I bought way too much candy. We could probably have 2 more Halloweens and I still wouldn't run out.

I dressed up as me being Manny being Manny. I have an old Red Sox Manny Ramirez jersey I thought I'd never wear again, a pair of baggy old baseball pants, and and old wig I found in my son's room. Here in Arkansas, only one kid recognized my characterization while handing out candy. I told my dad back in Massachusetts about my costume, and he just said, "Manny? Why would you do that?"

I went as Groucho Marx to a lame party one of my girlfriend's friends threw. Plus she neglected to tell me that it was BYOB so I only had one beer and that was beer some other guy brought for himself.

My daughter picks out my costume every year as her gift to me for my October birthday. Last year I was a Buzzed Light beer can. This year I was Harry Potter. I wear it twice, for an adult Halloween Party and to escort her trick or treating

I am at the other end of this. We almost ran out of candy because we had so many treaters. We fixed up 33 treat bags and came up one short for them. The last one just got some small bags of pretzels and a couple of pieces of candy.
