I couldn't tell, but it was close enough to challenge. There would be no harm in it, plus the time it takes to challenge gives you time to get your ducks in a row for 4th down (if you lose the challenge).
At that point our defense was reeling pretty badly. I don't have a problem with setting the defense exactly how you wanted, but yea it would obviously look better if our players could execute a little better. The way they were protecting Yates and getting open I don't think it made a difference either way.

They showed a replay on the Scott run where he was down a yard or yard and a half early, the pile kept getting pushed but he was on the ground at the bottom. He coulda challenged it, but there's no way it would have been won.

And just a side note, I had no idea that you have to be close to the defender who is in the neutral zone when you jump for it to be considered being drawn into a false start. I have never seen that rule called before. I would have rather our entire line jumped when he got into the neutral zone..

Bengals come out flat against St. Louis. Somehow, I am not surprised...

Penalties continue to kill this team, can't get a good flow going with false starts all the time. But haven't we said this over and over during Marvin's tenure.

What facemask? I never saw it, and no replays on it. Anyone else see it?

Just watched it on the DVR. Pac-man wasn't near the play at all. He went out of the picture as he was being blocked, so it is possible he grabbed the guy who was blocking him's facemask.

3rd down and 1, 4th down and 1, up the middle with Benson. Yuck!

You have to punt it at your own 40, especially when you are playing a terrible offense and are getting the ball back to start the 2nd half. Just gave them 3 free points.

Brandon Lloyd would be a great addition as the Bengals WR2 next season.

Seriously, there's not one guy on that offensive line I can trust.

Yeah man that offensive line is really bad. You could probably watch every offensive snap from that half and find at least one of our lineman laying on the ground.
