May be cool. And the cheapest ticket might also be $200.

I loved this place as a kid. Inexpensive and great water rides. I hate that it's closing.

Where are kids going to drink a gallon or chlorine and urine now?!?

I used to go a lot growing up, but honestly it was kinda crappy and needed a lot of updates which apparently they didn’t want to or couldn’t pay for.

I didn't notice that stuff; might explain why I'm so short. Going to Coney was a once or twice a year treat for me, plus the annual Coney invitational swim meet, our only chance each summer to compete in a 50 yard pool.

Every time we went to a show at Riverbend or went to Summerfair, the pool was always crowded. I think we took the kids there a time or two. Suburban pools were much easier to keep track of your kids at.

I think the money offered was just too good to turn down. Everyone has a price.

Yep. It's consistent with everything else happening.

No fun in owning a Lamborghini if everyone else has one too.
