Editing as my picture did not originally post. I guess this isn't regarded as an Irish beer but it was good last night!

Being a Coors product doesn't get you far in the Irish cred department.
All models are wrong. Some of them are useful.

My buddy gave me this Six Point Lager last night. From Brooklyn, they just started carrying them at our Liquor Barn. Very, very tasty if you get a chance to try one.

I'm heading off to Seattle for the upcoming weekend. I know the Pacific Northwest is a mecca of sorts for craft beer. Anybody have any suggestions for what I should look for or ask for while I'm out there? I know about Redhook and Ranier. I'm particularing interested in microbrew lagers and Pilsners. Any inside information or suggestions are appreciated...

It's out of Eugene, Oregon, but I always loved Ninkasi beers, especially Believer Double Red.

For a Seattle brewpub, I always enjoyed Elysian Brewing Company. Got a couple locations, including one near Safeco.

For a breakfast Bloody Mary, can't beat Roxy's in Fremont. If you make it, send my regards to Lenin.

Went to BJ's Brewery in Tri-County a couple weeks back. Their Piranha Pale Ale is delicious. Pricey, $5.25, but delicious.

Agreed on Full Sail. Their seasonal beers (LTD and Wassail) are all right, but everything else tastes fairly generic and bland to me.

Big fan of Laurelwood as well. Hopwerks not so much.

I have never really been a Rogue fan. However I was down in Hilton Head and had a Rogue Dead Guy Ale which was quite tasty. I wouldn't call it refereshing or a summer time beer, but it did not disappoint. I also got a kick out of the bill saying 1 Dead Guy.

They aren't my favorite either, but dead guy is a nice brew, summer beers are still a ways away up here, couple more months then it will be hot enough to worry about the lighter fare
