    It "shouldn't" be true, but it is...once kids stop going to school for whatever reason...the odds of them ever going BACK drops tremendously. So keeping them in school continuously is always the best option.

    In regards to how it effects baseball itself...as I said, we'll just have to agree to disagree. I see your point and I think it's perfectly valid...I just don't agree with it. Sorry.

    I don't have a dog in this race, but I feel like it's worth mentioning that a lot of students wouldn't be in school at all if it weren't for their aspirations of becoming professional athletes.
