Count my vote for Sal Romano once more. Hopefully this is the last time!

Taking some upside here and going with Radhames Quezada.

Since I never heard of Sal Romano, I'm going with Devin Lohman. At least I've heard of him.

Re: Who is Redszone's #44 prospect?

In 2010, at age 19, Jacob Johnson (6-4, 215-pound righthander from Florida) skipped Billings and went straight from the GCL to Dayton, where he started 25 games, competed fairly well and impressed a lot of people with his maturity and makeup. Not much (or anything that I've seen) has been written about the injury that kept him out of action last year, but he's alleged to be ready to go. Before last season, I considered him the top starting pitching prospect in the system after Aroldis Chapman. Even in ignorance of his injury, he gets my vote at #44. Emphatically. (Even though I really like Mitch Clarke.)

Well, I was googling around to find something that would put Jacob Johnson over the top. Unfortunately, there wasn't much new information.

    However . . .

There have been two major-league pitchers named Radhames, and the precedents don't bode well for our man Quezada:

And if Romano ever makes the Reds' rotation, we'll have to spend six months of every year with this song in our heads:

Au contraire, mon frere, third time is the charm. Quez closed.

And I fairly certain that young Master ROMANO is capable of bringing some serious, high-quality cheese.

So it is written, so shall it be done.

    History always repeats.

A mule named Sal. What a great find.

This is why we don't do reputation points. Quez closed, indeed. And please, with the cheese!

    (Nevertheless, I was amused.)

    Allow me to add this:

and on top of that my Sal
tries to drink up all the water
    in the Erie Canal."

Any place that ranks a reliever taken in the 31st round of the most recent draft the #3 prospect in any league is all you need to know about the place (nevermind the countless mistakes made in their own rankings of including players on the wrong teams). Miller isn't some diamond in the rough out of some no name school. He played at TCU for three seasons, never having an ERA under 4.50 and a career K/9 under 8 in college. I wrote about him in my prospect guide, because I think he warrants mentioning because of his outstanding season he just put up. But of the Billings Mustangs 2011 team, he wasn't even the #3 prospect at his own position, much less in the entire league.

If you're looking for a tiebreaker, I'll go with Quezada.

Are the other source's reports on his stuff accurate? If so, still sounds like a decent prospect. Especially at this point in the rankings.

The reports on his stuff seem right, or at least in line with the ones that I have on him. Worth watching. Far too early for him to be on the list though. There is a reason he fell that far in the draft. His scouting reports seem the same as with the draft. He seems like a solid relief guy, but his stuff is fringe average at this point and he hasn't even made it to full season ball.
