Would it be too much to ask the current ownership to find an additional partner to infuse more money into the franchise where we could bid on some free agents? So far this off season looks like a repeat of last year with Walt & Company watching from the sidelines until only a handful of over the hill players are left.
there goal is to make money. of course they would love to win but my guess is they rather make money 1st.
They go hand in hand, win, more people come, buy merchandise; more money means better teams, means more wins, means more fans, means more money, means ....
