    Lou Gehrig- the iron horse
    Ted Williams- greatest hitter
    Bob Gibson- as intimidating on the mound as they come

    I left out Bid McPhee. First of all he was a great player. Secondly, I would have liked to have seen them playing without gloves and everything else associated with that era.
