Yeah, I'm kind of lukewarm on Wye Oak, but they really killed that song.

    Re: Favorite Christmas song?

Yesterday was the last day of work at Honda prior to our Holiday shutdown. A lot of the workers still have that last day scheduled off, so I got "farmed out" of my department to cover that shortage. And I always like doing new stuff, something different. So yesterday I got to drive cars in (CRVs and Crosstours) from the outside lot that needed various repairs and quality checks.

I had the radio tuned to Columbus' 94.7 which plays nothing but Christmas music this time of year. It was quite enjoyable.

And a buddy made me a copy of Time-Life's Treasury of Christmas collection (4 CDs).

The great Darlene Love does her annual "Christmas, Baby Please Come Home" on Letterman last night. Always gets a big "wooooo!!!" out of me. This one was particularly great.

His cover of Merry Christmas Baby is of course, the second best. Here he is playing it on Conan.

Motown Christmas album is easily the greatest Christmas album ever.

All the classics performed by Motown legends.

I love lots of Christmas songs, but I really love this version of "Please Come Home for Christmas" by Aaron Neville:
