Which 1 player is the biggest loss

Of all the players Walt has traded in the two big deals, which is the 1 player you would want back and why?

Torreyes, no doubt in my mind.

To me, Alonso and Torreyes. Grandal was blocked, Boxberger can be replaced, and the rest had no guarantee of making a positive contribution this year.

Alonso was starting to look like the LF solution though, and Torreyes was a guy I really rooted for. Sucks that he's part of the Cubs now.

Alonso, I think he's a potential superstar offensively.

Wood. I think he's a consistent #3 or #4 starter. I'm glad to have Marshall for the next 2 years but we could have gotten much more for Travis Wood if we had traded him last year or waited for him to turn it around in 2012.

I think Grandal. I know Mesoraco is blocking him but I thought he's two years away which gets Hanigan out and gives us a cheap back up for 4 years until Mes hits free agency. But if he was the piece between us and Latos than I'm glad we gave him up

We only have Marshall for next year. I think Alonso is the biggest loss.

I like Travis Wood but so did the Cubs. This enabled us to get a very good relief pitcher.

Alonzo, he is going to hit 300 for the next 10 years.

I know I'm probably the minority but I really liked Dave Sappelt. When the Reds were sucking it up in September I knew I could flip on the Bats and watch him rake. I hope nothing but the best for for him.

Alonso, definitely. With his offensive numbers, and the work he had put in to improve himself in LF, I was really sorry to see him go.

Plus, he poured beer on me Clinch Night.

Really none of the players were guaranteed to make an impact on the ML roster next year. Alonso was most like to do anything but there was no promise on that.

If i had to have one player back it's probably Boxburger because he could have been our closer of the Future. but I'm okay with things the way they are.
