    2013-2015 World Series MVPs

    2013
    Yadier Alonso -SD

    2014
    Co-World Series MVPs
    Travis Wood -CHI
    Dave Sappelt - CHI

    2015
    Yasmani Grandal - SD

Looking at the results above I think the Reds are going to regret trading away 4 World Series MVPs for Mat Latos & one year of a lefty specialist. Hard to swallow, especially after the momentum the Reds built last year.

Do you think Beltran might win it one of those years instead?

No offense, man, but everybody on this board needs to learn to ignore stuff like this and it will either go away or not give the user who posted it the satisfaction they're looking for.

Again, I'm not trying to be a jerk, but I would hope that it would be obvious to anyone that someone predicting SD and ChiC to win the next 3 World Series is doing it to get a rise out of other forum members. Anyone with an ounce of sanity knows Zach Stewart is going to be the World Series MVP next year.
(Referring to Jack Hannahan signing with a Korean team)
Since there are no teams on the moon, I guess South Korea's far enough from Cincinnati to satisfy me.

i'm guessing you have Matt Maloney and Daryl Thompson winning the AL Cy Young awards during that time period, too?

There is some good discussion about this going on in the org.

I agree that Travis Wood would have been better than Marshall as a reliever. Marshall is 30 and Wood is 25. No WAR or peripheral numbers can erase that 5 year age gap.

Wood better than Marshall as a reliever? Do you remember how brutal it was to watch Travis in relief last year?

Padres and Cubs are nowhere close to getting to the World Series, not to mention winning it all. Wow

Seriously? The Cubs aern't going to the World Series in the next two years and maybe not even the next two DECADES! You don't even know the names of one of the bigger trading pieces and the momentum from last season was DOWN, not up!

Think the eggnog was writing this drivel for you.

I think you have 2013 wrong:
