Buckley time. Even if he doesn't have enough defensive chops to stick at third, his bat, arm, and decent speed should be enough to find him a home in the outfield. Pretty solid for a 6th round pick.

I've been thinking about and wanting to speak up (and vote) for Kyle Waldrop, but there were still a few guys ahead of him on my list. Namely, Drew Hayes, Chacin and Joseph. Since Hayes isn't on the ballot, Chacin has no chance here and Joseph is coming off a terrible year, it's time for Waldrop. I liked the way he ripped extra-base hits last year. He's reputed to be a great athlete, and Kevin Goldstein sealed the deal by touting him in his Top 11 list for BP.

In 31.1 IP in 2011 Eric Miller walked one batter. His K/BB is 26.0. Not saying he is a prospect. Simply found that interesting.

I'm swinging my vote to Buckley because I view Buckley and Judy about the same and the Buckley train has more steam than the Judy train.

Now that's a good find. I had to look it up to actually see who Erik Miller was. (Does the fact that he's from Texas have anything to do with your awareness?)

He reminds me of Justin Freeman. At the same age, they were at the same level with almost identical WHIPs. They're both control pitchers who drafted past the 30th round. Erik Miller is from Georgetown, and Justin Freeman is from Georgia. We might have an interesting conspiracy going on.

I had noticed that for the first time the other day when I was scouring the stat sheets for candidates. On the other hand his H/9 was 11.2. Also, he received a $100k bonus as a 31st round pick, but without any special college stats to suggest such a bonus.

Apparently, someone believed it was worth the money to keep him from returning to school for a senior year. Anyone have info?

Junior starting pitcher/relief disaster Erik Miller will be taking his, ahem, "talents" to Cincinnati, or at least some low level crappy minor league affiliate. Looks like we will no longer have to see that raunchy porn stache on the mound in Fort Worth anymore. Obviously this isn't an underclassmen we are too concerned with, but best of luck to Erik in the future. Word of advice- learn how to get out lefties and maybe work on your warm-up routine if you're going to be a reliever. I can't speak for everyone, but I wont miss you too much.
Not much of a glowing review. Never underestimate the power of a world-class pornstache.

Joseph. He's got major league stuff and rebounded pretty nicely in the AFL. If he harnesses his command, he'll be in Cincy by sometime in 2013, IMO.
