I hope he's looking at housing in the Louisville area.

If this is a major league deal it would knock Frazier off the 25 man. I don't see the advantage to this unless they think he could play SS once a week?

Looks like he's only appeared at short three times since 2006. That's a weird signing, unless it's a minor league one. Fay said it came from Dusty, so maybe the official word isn't a major league deal. Still, strange.

According to Sheldon, it's a minor league deal with a non-roster ST invite. That makes more sense. He might be Frazier's replacement in Louisville.

LOL, when I read about this yesterday I knew you were going to post this! My first thought was "didn't he already play for us", then realized these 2 names and knew you would drop em back on us.

I'm fine with it, he's probably this years Cairo. Cairo hadn't really done anything either before he came to cinci and did terrible in spring training but he stayed with the big league team.

When your parents name you Willie Harris do you have any other career options other than being a fringe major league baseball player? Do your parents sign your minor league deal, with ST invite before you leave the hospital?

I love this signing! Great to have a player that can basically play at or slighty above replacement level (when he is right) at 6 positions. He will be handy when someone hits the DL.

True, I would've preffered Jerry Harriston Jr. due to his ablity to play SS as well but i'm just hoping he isn't this year's Miguel Cairo.
