I used to watch them on Saturday morning when I was a youngin'. I would be thrilled when they did Last Train to Clarkesville. TVLand had reruns for a while a few years back. I liked a lot of their songs. R.I.P Davy Jones

My girlfriend was a big fan from the reruns on MTV. She and a friend of hers went to the Monkees' concert here last year and they got their picture taken with the late Mr. Jones.

I liked their show when I was a kid. Funny stuff.

Sad to hear of his death. My sister and I loved The Monkees when we were kids. RIP.

I'm very sad to hear this. I grew up watching the reruns of their show and listening to their music. My mom was/is a huge fan.

    RIP Davy.

Very sad to hear. Loved the show when I was a kid. Still have them on my ipod. Davy will be with Auntie Grizelda now.

Maybe David Bowie can go back to using his real name. Or is it too late for that?

Yep, I was a big Monkees fan back in the day. I didn't admit that to my cool friends though but they had some great pop songs. Still have a few of their LPs in boxes in the basement.

And I saw Davy Jones at a concert at Pine Hills Park at some Mason summer concert a few years back. Place was packed.
