    Dear Jose
Just because Jamie Moyer is still pitching does not mean it is 1997 anymore.

Hey lets sign him to a minor league deal with an invite to spring training. Can't hurt?

Cardinals will pick him up...what a story that would be if he would play for the Cardinals and have Mac as his hitting coach!

This is MLB's version of Tiki Barber. He needs the money and I suspect it'll end the same way too. The main difference I see is that Tiki was relatively productive when he retired while Canseco was a stiff.

BTW, why did a Louisville media source break this story? Where's the Louisville connection?

I get that. Ozzie was never the player that Jose was. I do wonder if he was a better fighter though.

Maybe he also bring back the Zubaz pants into style. You know, the ones that fit like a wind sock.

Jose has burnt every bridge in baseball. Not to mention he could not be seen as trustworthy in the clubhouse. Move on.
It's absolutely pathetic that people can't have an opinion from actually watching games and supplementing that with stats. If you voice an opinion that doesn't fit into a black/white box you will get completely misrepresented and basically called a tobacco chewing traditionalist...
