I came across an article in the San Diego Tribune on Yonder Alonso. The Padres had voluntary workouts for newly acquired players, so he was in town for that. Interesting read and I thought I'd start a thread where we can put this type of article.
I said elsewhere that I fully expect a number of these players we've traded to succeed and help their clubs over the long term. I'd still make the trades and don't anticipate many, if any, regrets.
I'm sure in the coming couple of months, we'll see more stories like this one, so feel free to link them here. It should be a fascinating read and discussion.
