Thoughts? They seem pretty lucky as they last hosted one at the same stadium in 1997. That would be 22 years apart. We had to wait 27 years and had a new stadium!

I think I saw last night that Cleveland has hosted the ASG now more than any other franchise. If true I find that very surprising.

There are some factors that make it a little less surprising. During the early years there were fewer teams from which to choose. Chicago, New York, and for some of the time Boston, Philadelphia, and St. Louis had more than one team to share hosting privileges as a city. Lastly, four of those times were Municipal Stadium which seated over 70K at a time when game attendance was a relatively more important factor than it is today.
