Anyone wanting to some new names on the board for the next poll? If so, name 'em off.

Voted Villareal due to the success he's had, but Romano and Perez were close behind. 94 MPH prep arms are hard to come by this late in the rankings.

Ismael Guillon. Anyone know why he's fallen so far off the radar? Did I muss an injury or something?
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

His control was brutal last season for the first 10 games. He was strong over the final 5 starts, but the first 10 were really bad.

Also, I went with Villarreal here. He has stuff that will match just about anyone on the list, has had moderate success in AA and good success below that. Solid control.

    60 IP, 29 H, 2 HR, 27 BB, 89 K, 0.93 WHIP, 22 Sv, 1.35 ERA.

    Record-setting quarterback. Competitor. Closer.

    Drew Hayes.

I would counter with: 23 years old. Low A. Not a closer at the MLB level. Questionable control at times. He actually turned 24 while the season in Dayton was still going on.

With that said, he isn't a terrible choice here. Just not too sure he is the best option here either.

Now that it appears Villarreal will finally be off the board, I have to think about my next pick. Does anyone know how Jaun Perez projects defensively? Also, will he start the year in Billings? He won't turn 21 until next offseason.

Also, not that I'm considering him, but did we ever find out how old Correa actually is?
(Referring to Jack Hannahan signing with a Korean team)
Since there are no teams on the moon, I guess South Korea's far enough from Cincinnati to satisfy me.

My understanding is that he's really Pascual Perez.

I haven't seen him yet, but I have heard that he isn't a shortstop in the future. Beyond that though, I don't know much about his defense.

Five errors in 143 total chances. His glove is good enough for him to play three different infield positions. I expect to see him starting at Dayton this year, and if they do decide to keep him at SS, and he continues to produce the way he has been, I'd be disappointed if he didn't crack our Top 10.
Arise and walk, come through. A world beyond that door is calling out for you. Arise and walk, come through. It's calling out for you.

Looking at things, I imagine they will keep him at shortstop for now, but that doesn't change the fact that he won't play there in the future.

How about Cody Puckett? His stock certainly fell off last year, but he still had 44 extra base hits (15 HRs, 29 doubles) in 339 AB's at AA last year. For comparison, Brodie Greene, whom the board seems to value highly, had 41 extra base hits in 502 AB's in Bakersfield. Puckett at AA, .779 OPS, Greene at A+, .780.
