I bought 2 tickets to this and will take my Ohio U. daughter.

Last outdoor music festival I went to was Goose Lake in 1970. God help me.
She used to wake me up with coffee ever morning

That's great Roy. I've heard really good things about this festival. I think it'll be relatively mellow. Make sure to check out M Ward and Andrew Bird while you're there. They're both really good live acts.
School's out. What did you expect?

And if they're anything like they used to be (doubtful, but alas), stand towards to back for Bad Brains haha...

I saw HR play in the Baker Center Ballroom at OU in 87 or 88. He was incredible but from what I've heard he is now completely insane.

I might try to move a vacation so I can go to that. Todd Snider and Hayes Carll will be there. That alone makes it worth the trip. I've seen Todd 11 times now and it isn't enough.
I've been to dinner at Jimmy Buffet's house, and I've eaten it at a homeless shelter. And there's great joy and harrowing terror to be found in both places.

I had purchased 2 of the VIP ticket packages for this show, but it has been canceled due to "scheduling conflicts".
My dad got to enjoy 3 Reds World Championships by the time he was my age. So far, I've only gotten to enjoy one. Step it up Redlegs!

I hope to see everyone there on Thursday. I will be the one with the Hawaiian shirt on and a beer in my hand.

Looks like the Buffett party won't ever really end in Cincinnati, starting next year with the opening of a downtown Margaritaville Cafe:

As usual, it was a great time.
Here is an interview Jim Rome did with Bronson Arroyo. Bronson talks about him being on his boat etc. during the Buffett concert.
