We rented Gatsby last night. Boy was it bad. I gave up after about 20 minutes. My wife kept with it and said it did not improve.

It amazes me how many people like Spring Breakers. I think this is the kind of roles James Franco should be doing but lets be honest if this was marketed as a independent film minus the Disney stars, it probably wins some major awards.

Just like Harmony Korine's previous films?

Did you see Warm Bodies? It was shot in 2011 but put on the backburner for the entirety of 2012, then went on to gross over $100M at the box office in 2013...

American Hustle is one of the most overrated movies I have ever seen. Too much time spent on the love triangle and not enough time spent on the hustle for me.

I thought Jennifer Lawrence's character stunk.

I did, but I didn't know about it in 2011 like I did with Losers Take All. Funny enough, I almost created a "best love story" category for Warm Bodies, but changed my mind.

    This.

I could just look at Jennifer Lawerence and Amy Adams for that entire movie and I wouldn't be bothered if I didn't have to pay for it.

I only became aware of it because it's director, Jonathan Levine, made 50/50, which was one of my favorite films of 2011...

Saw American Hustle and Wolf of Wall Street this past weekend. I'm not sure which one I enjoyed more. Both were great. However, not sure it was the best idea to watch the Wolf of Wall Street while sitting next to my wife's mother. Awkward doesn't come close to describing that experience.

Also saw Anchorman 2. Not nearly as funny as the first, but enjoyable enough.
