Too Early to Discuss NCAA Seedings?

    One Seeds
    1. Kentucky
    2. Syracuse
    3. Duke
    4. Kansas

    Two Seeds
    1. Missouri
    2. Ohio State
    3. Michigan State
    4. Baylor

    Three Seeds
    1. Georgetown
    2. Wisconsin
    3. UNLV
    4. Marquette

Most difficult picks, IMO, are last two #1's and last two number threes.

    Your opinions?

Re: Too Early to Discuss NCAA Seedings?

    Number Ones:
    Kentucky
    Syracuse
    Missouri
    North Carolina

    Number Twos:
    Ohio State
    Kansas
    Duke
    Michigan State

    Number Threes:
    Baylor
    Marquette
    Georgetown
    Wisconsin

How I would project each bracket:

    Boston:
    1.Syracuse
    2.Ohio State
    3.Baylor

    Atlanta:
    1.Kentucky
    2.Duke
    3.Georgetown

    Phoenix:
    1.North Carolina
    2.Kansas
    3.Michigan

    St Louis:
    1.Missouri
    2.Michigan State
    3.Marquette

Matt Jones brought up a good point on KSR and I really think this will happen. If Duke ends up being a 2 seed, they will get matched up with Kentucky in Atlanta.

    1. It's the 20th anniversary of the Laettner shot.
    2. The Atlanta draw is Friday-Sunday, meaning CBS can play it as the final Elite Eight game before 60 minutes comes on. Imagine the ratings.

FEB 25th Missouri at Kansas should determine who gets the one between them. Also UNC plays at Duke March 3rd with revenge on their minds. But overall I think your really close to how it should play out.

On a side note, I find myself watching more college these days as the lockout killed the NBA.

Conference tourneys always have an impact on seedings, even the top 4. I am looking at this way from a Buckeyes' perspective--they are a lock for a top 4 seed, if they are playing well they can beat anyone in the country no matter what seed they are, if they are still playing spotty like they are now, they'll bow out early again.

Lunardi had Michigan State as a #1 seed. They seem to be playing well right now so I can see this.
Looks like we might have some excellent #2 seeds : UNC-OSU-and Duke.

As a Murray State alum, what do you prognosticators see for my Racers? Any chance they are a 4, or 5 or are they going to be relegated to an 11 seed like most 'mid-major' types?

Championships for MY teams in my lifetime:
    Cincinnati Reds - 75, 76, 90
    Chicago Blackhawks - 10, 13, 15
    University of Kentucky - 78, 96, 98, 12
    Chicago Bulls - 91, 92, 93, 96, 97, 98

Here's one projected bracket where they (Murray State) are a 6 seed.

They are a dangerous team. This year's VCU?

I heard someone (cant remember who) say when they were undefeated that if they run the table the would have been no worse than a #4. If they dont lose another, I can still see them with at least a #4 and an outside shot at a 3.
The win against St Mary's helps.

Marquette could meet Marquette in the Final Four. Or would that make it a Final Three? Either way that will be historic.

They're really good. It could happen.

That's what I get for calling out Scrap for leaving out UNC.
