That basketball program rakes in huge $$$$ for the school. Does not take a senior professor to figure this out and figure out why there are very-very few drug test failures in college sports. Money rules. Think many players are not smoking pot, snorting cocaine, doing mushrooms/LSD, etc, etc... it is happening. Anyone here go through at least 4 years of college? Ever see anyone doing drugs? Ever see at least 25%-50% of people doing drugs? Ever see an athlete doing drugs? All of the above for me. Been a few years since I went, but things like this have not changed. Only the textbooks have changed (their cost!).

I know some do not like judgment without proof. But I am saying it... it happens at most BCS schools. Sure the tests are being administered. But coverups, players being warned well in advance, etc is happening. I ain'ts not dumb.

While this doesn't exactly surprise me I would be disappointed in Boeheim if I were a Syracuse fan. I think he has gotten to the point that Tressel or even Paterno did at their respective universities. They thought they could take care of everything.

Is this a big deal? I am starting to think it is. There is a reason you are required to do a drug test. And there is a reason why Boeheim decided to cover it up. If this is an end of the bench guy or a guy who gets limited playing time he will be suspended. I have a feeling that once the names come out they will be big time players.

If you ever see Yahoo Sports sniffing around your university, run, run for the hills.

Yahoo just beat Syracuse in announcing what Syracuse self-reported. It's not like this was a Miami expose that uncovered something the university didn't already know.

When is Boeheim going to stop running his mouth within seconds of an accusation surfacing?

For somebody who has been around the block for decades, the last several months have made him start to look like a rank amateur with the media.
